Bleed down Bleed Down’s debut CD Next Door to Nowhere is founded from the streets of Hollywood and the roots of Louisiana together a mix of Texas and Carolina Metal. Next Door to Nowhere is a collection of songs that defies conventional rock and metal music standards with its heavy rhythms soul bearing lyrics. Recorded in Dallas where the band is based the CD promises to be an instant blockbuster. Comprised of front man Michael Scotton, guitarist Ellis James, bassist Alan Hare and Drummer Warren Stewart, Bleed Down offers the raw lyrics and metal driven sounds into one complete master of Rock Metal. Release date set for January 2007.

Lead Vocalist, Michael Scotton, brings lyrics that mainstream rock hasn’t heard for sometime. Making his way to Dallas via Hollywood, he cut his teeth playing with the best of the LA music scene. Scotton’s outspoken lyrics and well-crafted melodies are undeniably infectious. Bringing both power and control he is armed with a voice to rival most artists today.

Ellis James, from the streets of Louisiana, is an undeniable talent on the Lead Guitar. With chops honed in the clubs of New Orleans, he brings back to music what was once lost. From the power of the title track, Next Door to Nowhere, to the pleading of One More Day the piercing solos and crisp guitar sounds overtake you. His distinct leads are what Metal has been hungry for and has become the signature for Bleed Down.

Alan Hare’s melodic bass lines help to round out Bleed Down. A North Carolina transplant to Dallas, Alan, co-founded Bleed Down with Michael Scotton, in October of 2005. A seemingly never ending supply of riffs he serves as one of the key building blocks of Bleed Down’s sound.

The monster behind the kit - Dallas native Warren Stewart - delivers a perfect combination of finesse and power. From his driving double bass beats of Darkest Hour to the intricacies of Walk to Emmaus Stewart’s versatility is a key factor in Bleed Down’s sound and direction. His high energy and intense contribution is the foundation to the ideal match of vocals and guitars.
