The name Bob White came from a visit to Nick's late grandmother's house during which she casually mentioned a bird by the name of Bob White who does nothing but say it's own name over and over ad infitum. Well, we had heard of Whipperwills before, but never had we heard of any bird this funny before. The name stuck around for a while and the "F-Electrics" portion was added after a physics term was deemed "cool enough" by the entire band. It stuck around despite Nick's many attempts to change our name to dubs such as: Kill Me, Kate, The Saigon Suffragettes and so on and so forth............................... .................................... ................................... Brooks' Bio: No one in the world loves the song Slowride more than Brooks. It is by far his favorite bass line of all time, in fact he was once told by his parents that if he played Slowride one more time then they would "kill" him. Brooks was once caught trying to sneak into the home of Tony Stevens, the bass player for Foghat, just to take a look at the legend. Tony took Brooks under his wing and raised him as his own. It was quite normal to find Tony and Brooks floating about the english country side discussing the philosophy behind the Slowride bass line. Soon though Brooks found songs such as Fool For The City and I Just Want To Make Love To You but was never able to master the skills that Tony had so finely used to write these classics. Years and many pelvic thrusting bass lines later Tony released Brooks back into the wild telling him, "The student has become the master!" Brooks spends every holiday seasnon with Tony and the other members of Foghat. .................................. ............................... If I had one wish, it would be for Bob White to be so loud that one kick drum smash would knock California right off the coast. I hate LA anyway. We all have a music purchasing problem and go through more CDs and bands than I can probably count to.
