In the small Dallas suburb of Duncanville, Bryan and Josh look search separately for something that feels right. After hits and misses with Placidus and Sinthetik, Bryan was left feeling unaccomplished. Soon after, Josh met Bryan by the joining of two separate projects going nowhere. Months go by with the new band, Our Fading Parallel. Each passing practice brought more frustration upon the two, seeing no sign of motivation nor production in the project. Due to musical differences, Josh parted ways with OFP. But just weeks later, weeks and weeks go by with no practices in OFP. Tired of stagnation, Bryan breaks ties with the now three piece melodic project, and meets Josh at his work. The two talk about what they wish a band of their own would sound like, and discover that the twos' opinions of perfection bare a striking resemblance. With that said, Bryan and Josh join together, with the working name Hindsight. Many more months of failed attempts pass by, trying to collect a vocalist and bassist. Finding Andrew was exactly what they needed. The musical section of the band was now complete. A year passes by of great music, song after song cranks out like clockwork. Yet still, the search for a vocalist continues sprouting forth nothing but futility. After a full year of unmotivated vocalists, a successful show, about 200 pairs of ears, and the new powerful name, Coament, representing the band's comradery and unwillingness to give up, the band decides to go three-piece. Josh now having become adjusted to playing guitar and singing at the same time, Coament becomes stronger than ever. The newly reformed Coament enters May of 2005 ready to tackle its first show as a trio. They book a local bar & grill, in the city of McKinney, and receive an amazing reception. The band finally feels as though they have the tools to rise to the next level. But a dark autumn unexpectedly awaited the band. With Bryan's decision to attend college at Texas Tech in Lubbock, and Andrew's departure due to personal and sudden musical differences, hopes to resurrect what seemed golden just four months earlier, began to dwindle. Even this could not stop the will of Bryan and Josh. They find a way to make it work, having Bryan travel back once or twice a month, practicing constantly, booking auditions to start over again. A freak, improbable meeting with Brian (known now as Robert, to both cancel out confusion with Bryan, and his striking resemblance to Robert Downy, Jr.) send things to the next level they were hoping for. They decide to stay a trio, after hanging out and jamming a few times. Now, with a demo recorded, newer equipment, experience under their belt, and a more powerful sound, the trio feels that they have what it takes to go to any level they so desire. The ability to fill in their own blanks. The ability to determine their own destiny. This is coloring fate.
