Rising from the ashes of what was Dirtbox, Mason Evans, Ernie Clark and Will Little sought not to redefine Heavy Metal as a genre – but to remind fans of what it is. Adhering to no particular ‘signature style’, they would reach into their past tapping sources from the likes of Venom, Maiden, Morbid Angel and numerous Blues and Jazz ‘influentials’. Unwilling to turn their back on the influences of today’s metal industry, vocalist Ven Scott was recruited, offering his take on All That Remains, Arch Enemy, Carcass, and Lamb of God.
