Diesel is simply an overall band that appeals both visually and audibly to people who love many different types of music. The band has steadily ascended its reputation since first forming in 2000 with Front-Man/Singer/Guitarist Charlie Kennimer and Drummer Paul Brown. Then shortly there after where joined by Guitarist Chris Stiles and then by Bassist Chris Harris finishing the lineup. After spending much time writing new songs and live show material, Diesel was finally able to show itself for the first time in mid 2005. Since then Diesel has constantly tried to evolve itself into an OVERALL band. Striving to play what is good music, and not worry about being the trend of the week. Already gaining national press from such sites and radio stations as Dallas/Ft. Worth's 93.3 FM The Bone, Cleveland's WXRK 92.3 FM K-Rock, Austin's KROX 101X FM, Blabbermouth.net, mtv.com, ultimate-guitar.com, and xtremedfw.com, Diesel has quickly set itself apart from others in it's genre. They have quickly ascended the ranks of the scene...already beginning to open for national acts such as SOIL, SILENT CIVILIAN, ALLELE, A DOZEN FURIES, JACKNIFE, ELEMENT 80, PUMPJACK, A NEW REVOLUTION, and PIMPADELIC. Also having been voted BAND OF THE WEEK on quickdfw.com for the end of FEB. 2006. We have also won major attention on two Texas FM Radio Stations 107.3 The Fox Rocks and 93.3 The Bone. Diesel won best major band via listener call in's on Dallas' 93.3 The Bone for their local airplay. Diesel's music makes use of the two-guitar style of metal combining many different guitar parts to make powerful walls of sound! With singer/guitarist Charlie Kennimer's powerful hard hitting melodies, guitar parts, and vocal lines mixing with guitarist Chris Stiles accompaniments, leads, and rhythm support it makes for one unstoppable force. Diesel takes every chance to utilize the power that two guitars can put out. Then add into the mix the relentless and unstoppable rhythm behind every riff. The massive pounding drums of Paul Brown that consistently delivers a non-stereo typical drum approach. That along side the ominous and ferocious low-end put down by Chris Harris on the bass there's NO stopping this band from pushing forward.
