Discard The Weak was formed when two prominent Dallas/ Ft Worth Based acts merged. After WAJA and KWIK BUDDHA had been touring regionally for six years, they both individually found that it was hard to maintain the necessary work efforts needed to be a professional metal/ rock band. The members of WAJA (Scott, Don, and Greg) asked Derek Rock to join them to begin a new project that would be much more serious and focused. Thus, Discard The Weak was born.
