Leatherbag is a singer/songwriter from Houston, Texas. Now living in Austin, he has had three releases with local record label, SuperPop Records. His main influences include Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt, Kris Kristofferson, Smog, and Simon Joyner. First beginning as a demo project, Leatherbag had only one other member of the band, producer/engineer/multi-instrumentalist, Seth Gibbs (Brother Machine). Over time and three record releases in a year, Leatherbag has grown to a four piece band featuring guitar, banjo, drums, and bass. Leatherbag continues to be the sole songwriter of the project and is currently playing shows across Texas while planning a national tour.
