Liquid Bounce began playing shows in early 2006 and quickly went on to dominate the local music scene with the help of a riveting live show, where unpredictable action and frenzied energy became the status quo. Spots at Fry St. Fair and the Dallas Arts and Music Festival, as well as legendary nights at Hailey's and Rubbergloves in Denton highlighted 2006. The ball kept rolling as songs from the band's first EP "liquid bounce EP" were featured on local radio station 89.3 KNON. The band has gone as far as Corpus Christi and have played to crowds of over four hundred, all while maintaining a reputation for being genuinely affable and sincere. People that describe Liquid Bounce as hip hop wouldn't be wrong. But when Bad Brains, Chick Corea's Return to Forever, and A Tribe Called Quest answer the question of 'who do you sound like?', it's probably easier just to call it hip hop. Without their peers, Liquid Bounce would not be positioned for a huge 2007. A respect and reverence for allies in the game make for a powerful local hip hop scene that is thriving with groups like Fab Deuce, Cleatus Blackfoot, and Joint Method all in position for big things.
