The Mad Mexicans are based super Latino band from Dallas, TX. The music encompasses a fusion of rock/hip-hop/ska/reggae/Latin styles creating for its listeners a powerful and raw excitement at each show. Vocals with a mix of English and Spanish speak to all audiences, blending Mexican customs with great rock ‘n roll. The Mad Mexicans are comprised of Juanelo “El Mero Rockstar” Moa on Bass, Robert Garza on vocals, Rafa Badillo on vocals, Johnny Lozano on guitar, Rob Tovar on percussion and Rogelio Martinez on Drums. The Mad Mexicans was assembled from a various bands in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area during the summer of 2003. Since then, the band has played with several national and local acts around the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and across the State of Texas. Each member of the band adds their own talent and personal experience to the music, drawing in the listening crowd to their background and way of life. People of all cultures enjoy the party atmosphere created by this Latin-based band from piñatas to traditional cookouts to the finale of Mexican folk songs. Mad Mexicans’ independent release, The Revolution Has Begun, was released in August 2005 and has been distributed world wide by Crystal Clear Distribution. Their singles, “A Mexican Party”, “Pinche Güey” & “Mexicanized” has been on rotation on Clear Channel radio stations through the state of Texas. In 2006, Mad Mexicans was voted “Best Latin” at 2006 Dallas Observer Music Awards. Mad Mexicans will embark on a South Regional tour in the near future.
