A fresh amalgam of rock n roll rhythms and country flare, Saints and Sinners are unlike anything you have ever heard before. Hailing from Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, this infant band is on the verge of making a huge impact on the world of music. Although they draw their influences from contemporary rock and traditional folk/country, their style cannot be pigeonholed into either category. The lines are blurred just enough to stay interesting without becoming experimental. Saints and Sinners churn out catchy little numbers with hooks youll be singing for daysIn a good way! These guys have something to say. Luckily, its the kind of social commentary that you can shake your ass to!
Saints and Sinners are hitting the streets hard. Clubs have quickly taken an interest and shows have increased to up to three or four times a week! Other accomplishments include becoming the house band at Dentons Inferno where the band played every Tuesday night for 2 months. They have also been getting frequent internet radio play; even having a show broadcast live via the Owen/Wilson Indie show. Their sudden burst of popularity has garnered the attention of several local record labels and music promoters enabling them to land support slots at the Granada Theater with VH1's "Band Re-united," Dramarama and at the Gypsy Tea Room with national touring act Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers. After releasing their debut full-length CD in May Saints and Sinners are continuing their rigorous local/regional live performance schedule in an attempt to build their fan base.
So far everything is going just as planned for the band and if the beginning of the story is any indication of their future success we should be seeing great things from them. As their popularity snowballs Saints and Sinners are proving to be the most pleasant surprise of the year.
