In the vast spoils of Americas countryside, a band has emerged whose musical influences are so diverse that their music style reflects their image. Born out of Cleburne, Texas, The Color Of May consists of 2 brothers, and their 2 best friends. Twin brothers, John and Matt Spivey, played together in various bands with close friend and neighbor Doug Hampton for over 6 1/2 years. During that time, they toured throughout the west coast. Eventually, they decided that it was time to start a new project, added a new bass player, John Kuykendall, and created what is now known as The Color Of May. Since the formation of the band in early 2003, TCOM has matured and gained a sound that is unique and unparalleled. The band recently released a demo demonstrating their diverse musical talents and is desiring opportunities to play and record their music. The band members are willingly available to travel and tour.
