PERSONAL
Son of John and Lanell Booth. 2 brothers (Tyler & John). Moved to Dallas at age one (1970) from VA. I have lived in Austin Dallas and Denton while in college, returning to Dallas upon completion of degree in 1995. My formal training in art began in 1987 at the University of Texas in Austin. I have been painting for several years and I have been educated in the use of watercolor, acrylics and oil paints. Minor studies in sculpture and history have influenced my subjects and painting surfaces. I am currently on the board of directors at the Deep Ellum Center for the Arts and was the curator there from Jan 99 - July 99
